WOW! We've had an overwhelming response for our community FTC team, and all slots have been filled for the 2016-17 season.
For students hoping to explore other STEAM and robotics opportunities within the community, one possible way to pursue competitive robotics for 4th through 8th graders is starting a FIRST Lego League (FLL) team.
As a service to the robotics community here in Georgia, we will be holding a workshop over the summer on the process of starting and running an FLL team. Many community FLL teams are run out of team member's homes and it is an excellent way to introduce students to FIRST. Once the season starts in August, we can also provide your new team with both student and parent mentors who have FLL experience to help you all the way though next year's competitions.
Please contact us at info@eastcobbrobotics.org if you might be interested in our FLL workshop.
For interested 9th-12 graders, an additional Information Session for our FRC team will be held mid-June. Please fill out the Info Form to be notified of meeting date and time.
