Fantastic Weekend at the Dalton Qualifier!

What a great experience!

We were selected for an alliance by Walton Robotics Team #2974, and working together with the GI Joz #5594, our alliance won the Peachtree District Dalton Event!

In addition to taking home a Competition Winner banner, East Cobb Robotics also won the Industrial Safety Award as well as the prestigious Engineering Inspiration Award.

Our students have learned and accomplished so much this year and overcome some difficult challenges - in the end their hard work and perseverance paid off.

We could not have attained this without the unwavering support of our team parents, mentors and sponsors. Thank you to GE, Automated Logic, United Technologies, Lockheed Martin, Best Buy, Branch Properties, Stanley Black & Decker, PTC, Epson, J Wood Metal Art, Edhesive, Howe Roofs, CLC Work Gear, Cobb EMC, Rotary Club of East Cobb, Kroger, East Penn Manufacturing Co., Chick-fil-A Lassiter, Honeywell Safety Products, Papa John's Pizza, Kennesaw State University, Novelis, Alpha Omega Health Center and Georgia FIRST Robotics.

Thanks to all the volunteers and staff in Dalton as well as Georgia FIRST Robotics for making this a well run and professional event! We look forward to competing at Kennesaw.

STRONGHOLD!

It's finally here!
Our first STRONGHOLD competition !

We've made great progress on our robot, Sir Lanceabot, and he's a beauty. Not only is he extremely good looking, but he's also extremely good at playing the game.

Please check out the action either live in person, or you can live stream this event. Visit https://www.thebluealliance.com/events/pch  DALTON EVENT for link starting on Friday 3/18.
